Due to the different versions of Microsoft XP, and add-on packages, these instructions could vary slightly on your PC. You may encounter these additional options or variations while following these instructions. By reading the instructions ahead of time, and following the Microsoft suggestions, you should find these variations easy to overcome. Click on START and then 'Control Panel'.
Double click on 'Network and Internet Connections'.
Under 'Pick a task': Click 'Set up or change your Internet Connection'
Under the Connections tab: Click on the 'Setup' button 
Click Next.
Select 'Connect to the Internet' and then click Next
Select 'Set up my connection manually' and then click Next.
Select 'Connect using a dial-up modem' and then click Next.
Type Quadnet as the 'ISP Name' and then click Next.
Enter your local dialup number and click Next.
Select 'Anyone's use' button
In the 'User name' field enter your user name that you selected when you signed up In the 'Password field' enter your password. Enter your password again in the 'Confirm password' field and click Next.
Check the box next to 'Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop'. Click Finish.
