The following instructions will guide you to setting up a separate identity in Outlook Express.



In Outlook Express, from the menu select File/Identities/Add New Identity.




Identities in Outlook Express have individual names. The default identity is Main Identity. Type in a name for this new identity.
Click OK.



A window will pop up asking you if you want to switch to the new identity now.
Click Yes.



This will open up the Internet Connection Wizard. Enter the Display Name for the new account. (This is the name other people will see when you send them an email.)
Click Next.



Enter the email address. The email address will have the format of username followed by the @ sign followed by your domain name.
Click Next



On the mail server screen, the wizard usually defaults to POP3. Check to make certain that it did.
Enter the incoming mail server in lower case letters. The incoming mail server will be mail.quadnet.net
Enter the outgoing mail server in lower case letters. The incoming mail server will be mail.quadnet.net
Click Next.



Enter your username and password. This will be for the email account you are setting up, not for your dialup account, they may be different.
Click Next.



When you have entered the information correctly, click Finish on the final screen.



Click close on the Internet Accounts window.
You are now ready to use your new email account.
It will be necessary to change identities back when you are finished with this account. Go to File/Switch Identities and select the identity to switch back to.
