Troubleshooting Outlook Express Using Mail Logging:

You may experience erratic email behavior that you can not figure out. If that is a problem there is one way to troubleshoot the issue. You can turn on logging in Outlook Express so the program writes all activity to a log file.

To turn on the log file:

- In Outlook Express: Go to Tools > Options > Maintenance Tab. Check the Mail check box under troubleshooting.



- Click OK to save changes.

- Check your email, send and receive messages etc.

- Go to the Start button > Find files > type in: pop3.log

- If it is a large file and if you can, Zip the file and email to support@quadnet.net, include your username and the problem that is occurring.

- Go back to the Mail check box and uncheck it to turn off logging
