Netscape 7 Email Configuration
To access email account settings in Netscape 7, it is necessary to have Netscape Mail running
Select the Mail icon on the bottom of the browser window to launch Netscape Mail

Select Edit, Mail/News Account Settings

The Account Settings dialogue box will appear
Verify your email account name and email address in the Account Settings Window

The Server option allows you to verify your Server Settings
Ensure that the required POP Mail Server Name, mail.quadnet.net, is listed under the Server Name: field
Ensure that the Port number is 110 in the Port: field
Some of the options available include how often Netscape checks for new mail, whether you wish to leave a copy of your messages on the server (NOT recommended)
The
Add Account
Button allows yu to set up multiple email accounts under Netscape
The Set as Default Button allows you to set the selected email account as the default
The Remove Account Button will delete the selected email account

The Outgoing (SMTP) Server allows you to specify the outgoing mail server name
Ensure that the required Outgoing Mail server name, mail.quadnet.net, is listed under the Server Name: field
Ensure that the Port number is 25 in the Port: field
Ensure that Use name and password is NOT checked or you will not be able to send email

The Advanced option allows multiple outgoing mail servers to be assigned to an email account and is not necessary for our service
Select OK to close the Account Settings dialogue box
